Pat DuVal, REALTORĀ®
Originally from Fort Pierce, Florida, I have worked on the Monterey Peninsula for 40 years. Upon joining the Monterey County Sheriff's Department in 1967, I became their first black Deputy Sheriff and retired after 30 years of service.
Among my many interests is my love of music. As a Countertenor, I have performed with the Monterey County Choral Society, I Cantori, Camerata Singers, and have sung solos with the Monterey County Symphony and Monterey Bay Symphony, among other groups. I have traveled, singing the National Anthem for professional sports teams, such as the Houston Rockets and the San Francisco Giants. Today I am still known on the Peninsula as "the Singing Sheriff".
I have had cameo roles in the movies Sudden Impact, The Enforcer and the Rookie, starring Clint Eastwood.Had a cameo role also in a movie "Quiet Cool", starring James Remar. I had a principal role in a "Candid Camera" segment. I also hosted my own television show on a CBS affiliate and have had principal parts in commercials on national television, performed with Doris Day, Angie Dickinson, Les Brown and His Band of Reknown, Paul Anka, Rosemary Clooney, Bob Hope, the Gatlin Brothers, the late Phil Harris, Glenn Campbell, Charlie Daniels and his band, the Smothers Brothers, Carol Channing, to mention a few.
My home is Carmel, but I love the entire Monterey County, with its beautiful farmlands, vineyards, mountains, quaint villages, Missions, coastlands, and generations of really nice people.
Please give me an opportunity to either sell your property or assist you in buying. I am a man of proven integrity and have comprehensive knowledge of the area.
